KYM advises Chief Data Officers across the Federal Government providing trusted advisory and subject matter expertise. We help our customers asses the value of data and understand the evolution and transformation of data as it progresses through its lifecycle and the governance and security of data in various states (at rest, in motion, in use). SAFe / Agile Program Management and Coaching

Applying agile coaching to transform IT solution delivery

KYM supports agile development efforts across the Federal Government providing coaching and agile support services. Our team of certified (e.g. SAFe, CSM, CSPO, PMI-ACP) managers help our customers establish Agile and SAFe methodologies in their organizations as well as join in-flight release trains and programs performing as hands-on program leaders. Our agile professionals have “walked-the-walk” and don’t just “talk-the-talk” and can implement agile practices in any environment.

Our services cover the entire spectrum SAFe and Agile services and our coaches perform the duties of Release Train Engineer (RTE), Scrum Master, and Product Owner. They plan / prepare for program increments (PIs), lead daily stand ups, refine and prioritize PI backlogs, facilitate feature evaluation across Agile Release Trains (ART), plan sprints, conduct retrospectives, facilitate scrum ceremonies, define the minimal viable product (MVP), manage cross-team dependencies and remove impediments, participate in feature evaluation and sizing. We coach client leadership, personnel, and release train participants and provide training on Agile/SAFE processes while promoting agile practices across ARTs and help facilitate communication sessions for Scrum Masters. Our team can stand up agile program management tools such as Jira or utilize systems previously developed or deployed on client site to provide program leadership and product management with a consistent and concise method to view blockers, escalations and other status.

Our analysts apply criteria specified by Agencies and the National Archives to ensure that, “we protect what we must and identify for release what we can”.
